The 22nd Black and White Theatre Festival Has Come to a Close

Our heartfelt thanks to all performers, audiences, partners, and volunteers – you are the ones who made this festival possible.

This year, the festival welcomed around 100 performers from 20 different countries. The programme featured 18 events, including workshops, a cultural tourism seminar, and theatre performances, presented a total of 42 times throughout the festival. Together, these events attracted an audience of approximately 6,000 people.

We are immensely proud of what we achieved together. A special thank you goes to you, our wonderful audience, for filling the theatres and streets, embracing art with open minds, and creating the unique atmosphere that made this festival so memorable.

Thank you for your trust, your encounters, your shared experiences, and the moments we created together. Once again, you made the impossible possible.

We look forward to seeing you again in Imatra in July 2027!
