On July 21–22, the festival welcomes the Barcelona-based Always Drinking Marching Band, one of Europe’s most renowned street music groups, to perform at Koskenparta.
Their vibrant street performance The Street is Ours (El Carrer és Nostre) combines live music, humour and lively audience interaction into an energetic celebration of public space and collective joy. The performance draws inspiration from the traditions of New Orleans brass bands, French fanfares and the Iberian txaranga culture, creating a unique and infectious musical experience.
A nine-musician ensemble will arrive in Imatra to fill the streets with rhythm, movement and festive spirit.
